Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Of course, many residents often head down to Aspen for their high-end upscale spots, but there are some fantastic restaurants right here in town.

  • Visit the log cabin restaurant at Krabloonik and watch the sled dog teams as you dine by the fire – and be sure to try their classic baked brie!
  • The Crepe Shack offers sweet and savory crepes and delicious coffee.
  • Base Camp Bar and Grill, located in Base Village, boasts two floors, a firepit, craft cocktails, and good food. Another great spot downtown is The Stew Pot which serves up comfort food, beer, and wine.
  • Il Poggio is home to a great outdoor firepit and tasty Mexican food, try Venga Venga.  And for apres-ski lunch and beers, Gwyn’s High Alpine or Sam’s are the places to be.
